April 2, 2011; The first race of the year for the R&W MOTORSPORTS team. We had a pretty good night. We started 2nd in the heat race and finished third. By virtue of the redraw we were able to start in the 2nd position in the feature. After leading early in the non stop event we were able to finish a strong 2nd place. All in all a good night for the team and a great start to the 2011 season at the Selinsgrove Speedway.
April 9, 2011; The results from the second race of the season were a fourth place finish in the heat race after starting 6th. We then started 10th in the feature and finished 8th. The rough track conditions damaged some of the parts on the car. We had a part on the car bend into the steering components on the front axel which hampered the steering of the car. I would say that getting through the night with as little damage as we did after starting mid pack was still a pretty good night, all things considered. The weather looks bad again for this comming Saturday but hopefully we get to race and try for a better finish this week, Thanks for checking in!
